Unsurprisingly over the last five years we’ve be Unsurprisingly over the last five years we’ve been asked increasingly to design home offices and this one from our South Kensington project has to be one of our favourites. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Flooded with lots of gorgeous light, this room makes the perfect study. Like in the rest of the apartment we installed raised and fielded moulding panels and the elegant bordered oak herringbone floor. But our favourite feature of this room has to be the bespoke joinery that we designed to wrap around the door. When working in a tight space, particularly a bathroom it’s essential you make use of every last cm. We recessed the nickel framed medicine cabinet to sit flush with the wall to avoid anything protruding out into the room. Next up in our room reveals of our South Kensingto Next up in our room reveals of our South Kensington project is the primary bedroom. Our client wanted a calm and elegant space to relax in. With the same generously proportioned ceilings of the living area we wanted a pendant to draw the eye, so we sourced this beautiful antique chandelier as the foundation for the design. We love the delicate crystals and really leant into this femininity for the rest of the scheme. Starting first with the living area. With impressive 4m high ceilings we knew this space needed a very special chandelier, which is why we opted for this spectacular hand forged bronzed oak leaf chandelier by @coxlondon We love its organic shape and the way it adds contrast to the refined space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With a limited floor plan we had to be clever with both the layout and selection of furniture to ensure not to overwhelm the space. We worked with lots of incredible suppliers and makers to source and commission unique pieces to pull the scheme together.
