Covet Noir had the pleasure of delivering full interior design services from concept through to completion and styling for The Soke, a private mental health and wellness centre in London's Chelsea. The interior design concept is aimed at creating a refined interior to ensure emotional as well as physical comfort. Bringing the user experience to the forefront and adding a human element to the centre, Covet Noir created a pared-back interior design that is warm and inviting.
The wellness centre consists of 10-treatment rooms with adjoining relaxation pods, a homely living room style reception space and an office for the evergrowing leadership team. The design spread across five floors is defined by natural light, chalky-textured walls, and a wide oak plank floor, creating a perfectly imperfect space. The brief called for a non-clinical character space that was designed to shift the image of prevalent everyday mental health issues. The interior concept where the materials were deliberately chosen to improve with age, developing a patina and a lived-in look that will only add to the sense of ease that the design studio wanted to instill.
